The Bonnechere Museum tells the story of settlement and development in all the townships and communities along the Bonnechere River. This new facility is in the former Eganville Village Centre.

Many visitors come to see the large and very imposing Eganville Millennium Mural which depicts a rich history of Logging, lumbering, farming and the central role of Eganville's two founding faiths.

Golden Lake, Lake Clear, Constant Lake and Silver Lake are favorite spots for tourists.

The Village of Eganville has a well-maintained beach and runs a full swimming program each summer.

The township boasts the home of the world renowned Black Water Designs Company and many other successful businesses including fine restaurants that bring in visitors from far and wide.

Winter brings the joys of snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and skating.

It also brings the Toromont Cat Bonnechere Cup.
This is the only professionally sanctioned oval-track snowmobile race in Ontario!

On top that, we have The Eganville Old Snowmobile Show and that is the largest vintage snowmobile show in Canada!

The area is full of history. The Historic Stone Fence off the Opeongo Line makes for an interesting family trip, and the Annual Rural Ramble focuses on many interesting facets of the Township of Bonnechere Valley.
