The Township of Bonnechere Valley has a by-law which establishes the requirements to conduct open air burns.
In order to conduct an open air burn residents must obtain a burn permit online or from the township office. There is no cost to obtain the permit; however, failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the burn by-law can result in fines and/or charges.
BE ADVISED THAT 24 HOUR NOTICE IS REQUIRED BEFORE PERMIT APPROVAL
BURN PERMITS WILL BE SUSPENDED FROM JUNE 1 THROUGH OCTOBER 31
If you have questions about open air burns, please call 613- 312-7361.
